59 Students of II Year B.Com along with two faculty members Prof. H. Nisar Ahmed and Prof. S. Afsar Bsha of Islamiah College visited VANITEC CETP on 14-02-2008. They were briefed about the operation and maintenance of CETP, the functioning of VANITEC, and also about the ongoing Zero Liquid Discharge plant implementation, by Abdullah Basha M and H Nazeer Ahmed of VANITEC.
Islamiah College has entered into agreement with IGNOU as partner to run all the courses.
Islamiah College management have specially opted for MBA, MCA and Shoe technology courses which no body offer in southern India.
Islamiah College is the only institute offering shoe tecnology course. Besides IGNOU will also offer MSC Home Science, MA ( ENG) and M.COM for ladies and may be MCA also.
VANIYAMBADI: Vaniyambadi Mid Town Rotary Club and Chennai South Rotary Club will organise a MMR vaccine camp here on Sunday. Children in the 1 1/2 to 2 age group will be administered the vaccine at the cost of Rs.50 against the usual Rs.1,500. The camp would be held at Islamiah Boys Higher Secondary School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to a spokesperson of the camp.
