VANIYAMBADI: Islamiah College , Vaniyambadi , has got a Central government grant of Rs.32 lakh from the Department of Science and Technology for purchase of sophisticated scientific equipments for research purposes, under the Funds for Improvement of Infrastructure for Science and Technology (FIST).

The Hindu - Councillors extend support to set up additional bus stand in Vaniyambadi
VANIYAMBADI: Councillors of the Vaniyambadi Municipality in Vellore district have extended support to set up an additional bus stand near the Bypass. All 36 councillors of the municipality have supported a resolution adopted at the council meeting held here on Thursday.
Various resolutions pertaining to development works got full support from the councillors. It was also the first time that the councillors cutting across party lines supported resolutions adopted to bring in overall development in Vaniyambadi.
