Two weeks have passed since the bombardment of Gaza began. The world is unable to stop the mighty tormentor Israel while thousands in Gaza have lost lives, scores injured and a habitat gone homeless. Those in the UN and the International community who always pledge against terrorism have gone blind to this act of Terror by Israel. Since Media and the Human Aide (NGO) are prevented from entering Gaza, they are unable to gauge the actual havoc caused by this one sided war. The causalities that gets reported in a very few TV channels are only a tip of an ice berg. The actual extent of this catastrophe is yet to be known.
Islamiah College is offering one-year functional Arabic course to students this year. The Indian Council for Promotion of Urdu of Central Government under the ministry of Human Resouce Development has designed the course and our college is offering this course on behalf of the Council.
All the study material prepared the Council would be given to the students. From next year members of public who are interested could also join the course. The inauguration of the course took place on 24 August 2008. There is a overwheming response for this course among our students. Those who are desirous of going to Arab countries for job could be benifited from this course.
